ATV DIN 18311 "Dredging work" has been technically revised by the German Committee for construction contract procedures (DVA). In all civil engineering standards of the VOB/C with a reference to the subsoil, the classification of soil and rock classes valid for decades is replaced by homogeneous zones. In addition, Clause 5 "Settlement of accounts" has been restructured. The standard is applicable for the loosening of soil and rock under water, including loading, conveyance and deposition of the loosened soil and rock under and above water. It is also applicable for the loosening of soil and rock above water along the shore when this work is carried out in connection with the loosening of soil and rock under water.
This document replaces DIN 18311:2012-09 .
