This standard specifies requirements for thin square nuts with metric thread for sizes M1,6 to M10 in product grade B. With respect to the current standard, in addition to editorial adjustments, modifications to the mechanical properties in Table 2 have been made. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 067-00-03 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Innengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric internal thread") at the Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV) at DIN.
