This European Standard specifies the inspection and testing of individual and serially produced pressure vessels made of steels in accordance with EN 13445-2:2014 under predominantly non-dynamic load (that is, vessels with an equivalent number of full pressure cycles in operation below 500). Special requirements for operation under cyclic loading are given in EN 13445-3:2014 and Annex G of this part of the standard. Specific requirements for pressure vessels or parts of pressure vessels working in the creep range are given in Clause 5, Clause 6, Clause 10, Annex H and Annex I. The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 012-00-05 AA "Unbefeuerte Druckbehälter" ("Unfired pressure vessels") at DIN Standards Committee Chemical Apparatus Engineering (FNCA).
