This European Standard specifies minimum safety requirements and test methods for paddles and oars for no-rigid hull water crafts. Paddles and oars for no-rigid hull water crafts are classified in performance levels A and B. This standard is not applicable for paddles and oars for: - sports, training and competition; - white water; - items covered by EN 71-1; - foldable/rigid boats/kayaks. This standard does not apply for paddles and oars made of wood.
