The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication specify requirements for gauges important for the interchangeability of a lamp with a certain cap in the corresponding lamp holder. Through Amendments A43 and A44, the existing requirements for the gauges for the GY10 system have been deleted. The new requirements for the gauges for the PGZ18, PGZX18, WP3.3x14.5 and GU8.5 systems have been added. The responsible committee is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60061-3:2011-07 .
