Overview

This standard of the series DIN EN 60317 supplements the corresponding basic standard DIN EN 60317-0-1 on enamelled round copper wire by particular specifications for enamelled round copper wire of class 200 with a triple layer. The underlying coating is based on polyesterimide resin which may be modified providing it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meets the requirements of this specification. The cover insulation is a bonding layer based on polyamide. The responsible committee is DKE/K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
