Overview

This European Standard applies to transportable band saws having a saw band not more than 2 700 mm in length and band wheels having a diameter of not more than 350 mm. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
