Overview

Connectors for RBMA series with characteristic impedance of 50 Ω are usually used in wireless, microwave, telecommunication, and other fields, connecting with RF cables or micro-strips. The connectors can be used for an operating frequency limit up to 12,4 GHz. This sectional specification provides information and rules for the preparation of detail specifications for RBMA series blind mating RF connectors and the blank detail specification. It describes mating face dimensions for general connectors-grade 2, dimensional details of standard test connectors-grade 0, gauging information and tests selected from IEC 61169-1, applicable to all detail specifications relating to RBMA series blind mating RF connectors. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
