Overview

The present standard applies to two up to five wire installation couplers including earth, if provided, with a rated voltage up to and including 500 V alternating current and a rated connecting capacity up to and including 10 mm2 for permanent connection in indoor electrical installations. With respect to DIN EN 61535 (VDE 0606-200):2010-05, the following changes have been made: a) a note referring to IEC 60999-1 was added to 11.1; b) clarification in clause 14, "Insulation resistance and electric strength". The responsible committee is UK 534.4 "Verlegungs- und Verbindungsmaterial" ("Distribution and joining material") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 61535:2010-05; VDE 0606-200:2010-05 .

This document has been replaced by: DIN EN IEC 61535:2020-08; VDE 0606-200:2020-08 .
