Overview

Part 23 of IEC 61851 is applicable to direct current (DC) charging stations for electric road vehicles for conductive (line-conducted) connection. Together with Part 1 of IEC 61851, this part describes requirements for DC charging stations for supply voltages up to 1 500 V (direct current). This standard specifies the type of connection derived from the charging mode 4 described in Part 1. This Corrigendum corrects the use of some terms, references, inconsistent representations and formulations, thus avoiding misinterpretation in application. In addition, errors and misleading statements in the description of system A are corrected. The responsible committee is DKE/K 353 "Elektrostraßenfahrzeuge" ("Electric road vehicles") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
