This test standard specifies methods for the hydrostatic testing of rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies, including methods for the determination of dimensional stability. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" (secretariat: DSM, Malaysia), SC 1 "Hoses" (secretariat: DSM, Malaysia) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as EN ISO 1402:2009 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national Standards Committee is NA 045-02-12 AA "Schläuche" ("Hoses") of Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU).
