DIN EN ISO 15614-1:2012-06

The necessity of adjustments which could no longer be performed in the framework of the European/International publication process has already been indicated in the National Foreword to the standard DIN EN ISO 15614-1:2004-11. In addition to the corrections already mentioned in the national foreword of the 2004 edition, this consolidated version (EN ISO 15614-1:2004+A1:2008+A2:2012) covers additional necessary adaptations to the English version which have been communicated to the NAS in the framework of active use of the users of the standard. Essential corrections concern the information on the ranges of qualification in Tables 5, 6 and 7 and the adaptation of clause 7.5 "Acceptance levels" with respect to the revised standard ISO 5817:2005. Amendments A1 and A2 to the European Standard EN ISO 15614-1:2004 have been prepared by CEN/TC 121/SC 1 "Specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials" (secretariat: AFNOR, France), in collaboration with ISO/TC 44/SC 10 "Unification of requirements in the field of metal welding" (secretariat: DIN, Germany) in accordance with the Vienna Agreement. The responsible German standardization committee is DIN/DVS Joint Subcommittee NA 092-00-04 AA "Qualitätssicherung beim Schweißen (DVS AG Q 2)" ("Quality assurance of welding (DVS AG Q 2)") at NAS.
