By resolution of the CEN Technical Bureau (Resolution CEN/BT C83/2015), Annex ZA and the European Foreword have been updated and published in August 2015 as the new edition EN ISO 15883-6:2015. With the present new edition of DIN EN ISO 15883-6 the foreword newly issued by CEN, including Annex Z, has been incorporated into the existing standard. The standard contains unchanged ISO 15883-6:201. This standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 198 "Sterilization of health care products" (secretariat: ANSI, USA), in collaboration with CEN/TC 102 "Sterilizers for medical puroses" (secretariat: DIN). The responsible national committee is DIN Working Committee NA 063-04-09 AA "Reinigungs-Desinfektionsgeräte" ("Washers-disinfectors") at Standards Committee Medicine (NAMed).
