DIN EN ISO 16635-2:2014-12

Nowadays the application of rubber dam makes sense in many dental working steps. In order to improve use standardized products are required so that the individual working steps are better coordinated. Standardization of the required instruments and materials is necessary to facilitate the use of dental rubber dam. This part of ISO 16635 specifies requirements and test methods for clamp forceps intended for the application of dental rubber dam clamps to teeth. The International Standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 106/SC 4/WG 8 "Dental hand instruments" (secretariat: ANSI), in collaboration with CEN/TC 55 "Dentistry" (secretariat: DIN). At DIN the responsible Working Committee is NA 014-00-23 AA "Dentalmedizinische Instrumente" ("Dental medical instruments") of NADENT.
