This standard specifies tests which can be used for determining the fire characteristics of various FRP composites. It provides guidance on how to assess the fire performance of FRP composites in different applications. The standard is directed at manufacturers, test facilities and users of products made of fibre-reinforced polymer composites. It covers in particular aspects of quality and fire safety. This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 "Plastics", SC 4 "Burning behaviour", in collaboration with CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of which is held by NBN (Belgium). The committee responsible for DIN EN ISO 25762 is Working Committee NA 054-01-05 AA "Brandverhalten" ("Burning behaviour") at DIN.
