This test standard specifies a method for assessing, on a small scale, the reaction of a conveyor belt to an ignition flame source. It is applicable to conveyor belts having a textile carcass as well as steel cord conveyor belts. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41/SC 3 of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 "Conveyor belts". The responsible national committee is NA 045-02-05 AA "Fördergurte"("Conveyor belts") at the Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU).
This document replaces DIN EN ISO 340 Berichtigung 1:2009-09 , DIN EN ISO 340:2007-06 .
