DIN IEC 60050-351:2014-09

This part of DIN IEC 60050 contains both the general terms used in control technology as well as general terms concerning specific applications and associated technologies. The previous edition has been revised and extended for this new edition. It has the status of a horizontal standard in compliance with IEC Guide 108. The terminology is consistent with the terminology developed in the other specialized parts of the IEV. This horizontal standard is primarily intended for technical committees preparing standards in compliance with IEC Guide 108. The technical committees are responsible for applying horizontal standards during the preparation of publications, wherever possible. The content of this horizontal standard is only applicable when specifically referred to in the relevant publications or when it is contained in them. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 921.1 "Begriffe der Leittechnik" ("Terms of control technology") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
