DIN ISO 16486-4:2016-11

The standard of DIN ISO 16486-4 is the German version of ISO 16486-4. This standard specifies the physical and mechanical properties of fittings made of unplasticized polyamide (PA-U) according to ISO 16486-1, which are to be buried and used for the transport of gaseous fuels. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods to which it refers. The DIN ISO 16486 series of standards is intended for manufacturers and users of pipes, fittings and valves made of unplasticized polyamides (PA-U). This part includes, in particular, aspects of quality. ISO 16486-4:2016 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 138 "Plastics pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids", Subcommittee SC 4 "Plastics pipes and fittings for the supply of gaseous fuels". The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 054-05-08 AA "Kunststoff-Rohrleitungssysteme für die Gasversorgung" ("Plastics piping systems for the supply of gaseous fuels") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
