This standard describes, following ISO 12301, the checking methods and measuring equipment used for measuring the total wall thickness of thin-walled bushes in the finished state. The underlying standard ISO 3547-7 has been prepared by ISO/TC 123 "Plain bearings". The committee responsible for the German collaboration and this translation is Working Committee NA 118-02-05 AA "Qualitätssicherung" ("Quality assurance") at DIN Standards Committee Rolling Bearings and Plain Bearings (NAWGL).
