This standard has been prepared by DIN-Normenstelle Elektrotechnik (NE), committee NA 140-00-22 AA "Technical documentation and machine elements (NABw TD/Ma)". This standard applies to national insigne that are used over-all in the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). The standard is not valid for ambulance vehicles. These shall be marked with the red cross insigne according to VG 95100.
