The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-04 AA "Konfektionierte elektrische Kabel und Leitungen" ("Assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard is valid in conjunction with the generic specification VG 96927-2 for cable assemblies of the vehicle family "TPz Fuchs". Cable assemblies to this standard are subject to qualification testing according to VG 95211.
