This supplement contains Interpretation Sheet 1 to IEC 60825-1:2007. It explains subclauses 9.2 and 9.3 of the standard. The responsible committee is Joint Committee GK 841 "Optische Strahlungssicherheit und Lasereinrichtungen" ("Optical radiation safety and laser equipment") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
