The present standard DIN SPEC 32534-3 is an example for documentation of a simulation of distortion and residual stresses of a MAG (metal active gas) welding process on a workpiece with the quality requirements of a steel S355J2+N. Further examples for different documentations, which were provided on the basis of this template, are given in the parts of the series DIN SPEC 32534. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 092-00-29 AA "Schweißsimulation (DVS AG I 2.1)" ("Welding simulation (DVS AG I 2.1)") at DIN Standards Committee Welding and allied processes (NAS).
