Short description
This guideline gives instructions for the emission control of facilities for crushing and grading of mineral waste from construction sites and demolition in mobile or stationary recycling facilities. Waste from construction sites and demolition is produced primarily in conjunction with the dismantling or demolition of buildings. Before it can be used in road construction, earthworks and landfill site construction, or in horticulture and agriculture or as an additive for reuse in building construction, it is recycled with the aim of producing recycling construction materials with defined properties. The overall recycling process includes delivery and storage of the source material, the actual recycling (including comminution and sorting), transport and storage of the produced recycling granules and necessary transport during recycling. Recycling of mineral waste from construction sites and demolition can be effected in mobile or stationary facilities. The emission control requirements are fundamentally the same for mobile and stationary recycling facilities.Pre-sorted recycling construction materials can be produced in this way from mineral waste derived from construction sites and demolition. The guideline is addressed to experts of demolition waste recycling facilities, cement plants, construction companies, measurement institutes, public authorities, consultant's offices and architect's offices.
