Short description
The profession of crane operator is not a training profession in Germany. Although nothing works in thousands of companies without the crane driver being entrusted with millions of euros in terms of steelworks, container handling or port operations, an employee is often deployed as a crane operator after a simple briefing. The driver´s card proves which theoretical training contents and practical exercises were taught, which are preferably based on the standard VDI 2194 Part 2.
