Short description
The standard introduces the elements and the basic design of power-split transmission structures to the user and provides an overview of the characteristic power flows and efficiency curves in such transmissions. Beginners in gear technology will learn the basics of gear calculation in a short form. For the analysis of power-split gearboxes of all types, the standard lays down uniform symbols with the aid of which gearboxes can be converted into clearly arranged replacement structures. Based on a concrete example, the calculation of speeds, torques, powers and transmission efficiencies is demonstrated statically over the transmission range and dynamically taking into account the mass inertia.
