The document applies to electrically driven heat pump systems, designetd for heat pump operation only, for the heating of rooms, up to a useful heat flow of 100 kW. Heat sources considered are ground water, ground source (borehole heat exchangers and ground heat collectors) and outdoor air. The heat is supplied to a water-based central heating system (het sink).
