Short description
The use of heat pumps with higher outputs in commerce and industry is of great importance worldwide for achieving climate protection targets. Both users and politicians are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits in terms of energy and cost savings and a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in trade and industry. This standard provides support in the planning and evaluation of heat pump systems for non-standardised applications in commerce, industry and in the piped heat supply of urban areas. Non-standardised applications are characterised by a high output (> 100 kWth). Heat pumps for commerce, industry, urban areas and non-residential buildings as well as cooling systems that aim to use the hot and cold side are the subject of this standard. The standard is aimed at industrial companies with a relevant low-temperature heat demand, planners, energy supply companies, municipal utilities, heat pump manufacturers, heating and cooling system manufacturers, science, and research.
