Overview

The standard describes the drainage system in the disposal area of landfills and applies in conjunction with DIN 19666 for the design, construction and operation of drainage systems on the base sealing of landfills. It contains requirements for planning and construction of drainage systems in landfills that have been revised in compliance with Annex 1 of the Landfill Ordinance, the Federal Uniform Quality Standards and the GDA recommendations of the German Geotechnical Society.
