The content of the existing standard EN 13146 "Railway applications - Track - Test methods for fastening systems - Part 9: Determination of stiffness" is corrected by Amendment EN 13146-9:2009/A1:2011. The technical corrections refer to certain clauses of EN 13146-9:2009, including the equations given there regarding specification and interpretation of the laboratory test procedures for the determination of the static and dynamic stiffnesses of rail pads, bases and complete fastening assemblies. The corresponding text passages of the amendment are marked in the document. The corrections refer to the methods for the calculation of the dynamic stiffnesses on low, high and acoustic frequencies.
