DIN EN 1473:2016-10

This European Standard specifies the safety requirements for land-based liquefied natural gas plants used for the liquefaction of natural gas, storage, loading and regasification of liquefied natural gas. Excluded are facilities for the storage of liquefied natural gas with a storage capacity of 5 to 200 t, which are specified in EN 13645, as well as facilities for the storage of liquefied natural gas at a pressure of more than 0.5 bar. The preparation of this standard is carried out in CEN/TC 282 "Installation and equipment for LNG", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. The national mirroring is carried out in NA 032-02-10 AK of DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology (DIN NAGas). The worldwide further development of technology in the field of liquefied natural gas plants made it necessary to revise the European Standard. The revised standard is to serve as the basis for a future International Standard.
