The interface between OPC UA Clients and Servers is defined as a set of services. These services are organized in logical groupings which are called service sets and specified in this standard. These service sets are: Discovery Service Sets, SecureChannel Service Sets, Session Service Sets, NodeManagement Service Sets, View Service Sets, Query Service Sets, Attribute Service Sets, Method Service Sets, MonitoredItem Service Sets, Subscription Service Sets. The responsible committee is K 931 "Systemaspekte" ("System aspects") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
