Short description
The guideline applies to stationary waste incineration units in which municipal waste or hazardous waste is burnt, unless there are other statutory regulations for disposal in an individual case (for example Explosives Act, Nuclear Energy Act, Carcass Disposal Act). The incineration of wastes from hostpitals and other health service establishments in seperate units is dealt with in Guideline VDI 2301.
